Senior Sports Buyer – Football & Teamsports

Join our Buying Sport Team & shape the future of Football Retail!

We are looking for a Senior Sports Buyer to lead and develop our Football & Teamsports category. This role goes beyond buying—it's about strategy, vendor relationships, and business growth. You will help shape our product selection and bring the best football gear to market. As a buyer at Boozt, you need to be forward-thinking with a strong commercial mindset and deep industry expertise to take our Sport category to the next level.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Manage and build relationships with existing and new partners

• Co-drive and build strategy around football and team sports to enhance partnerships

• Plan and execute strategic meeting and initiatives with partners to take our Football category to the next level

• Handle budgets to support the strategy for the category

• Create optimal product ranges and work on diversifying product assortments within our the category

• Select and buy products, as well as identify potential business opportunities (brands and products) based on analytical data provided by merchandisers and your industry knowledge

• Collaborate with other departments and internal stakeholders, to drive change and in turn improve sales performance and elevate the category towards our consumers

• Travel days is expected during buying season

YOUR PROFILE

• Industry knowledge, and experience within Football and/or Teamsports is a must

• Minimum 3 years of buying experience within the sport retail industry with proven results

• Results oriented with good problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative

• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task

• Proven analytical and negotiating skills with major players within the sports industry

• Superb organizational skills and ability to prioritize

• Excellent time management skills and great at meeting tight deadlines

• Ability to maintain and strengthen relationships with existing brands and scout for new brands

• Proficient in Excel

• Fluent in English since this is our corporate language
