Senior Software Engineer
THE OPPORTUNITY
Backend Developer position at Boozt is a crucial role in building and maintaining the technological backbone of a leading Nordic e-commerce company. This is an opportunity to work with modern technologies, solve complex challenges, collaborate with talented teams, and make a significant impact in a fast-paced and dynamic environment within a strong Scandinavian company culture.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Backend development on a platform team with modern PHP development stack
Continuous development of new functionality and refactoring with a focus on quality
Contribution to team's work excellence with daily code reviews
Experiments and research on new technologies
TECH STACK:
The main framework is Symfony + PHP 8.2
All infrastructure is on GCP, monitoring with Datadog
CI/CD: GitLab
DBs: MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch
Tests: PHPUnit
Dev environment: Docker
A lot of RESTful APIs and even more async data exchange (AMQP, PubSub)
YOUR PROFILE
Mastering PHP and MySQL
Good English & communication skills
Interest and knowledge of new trends and technologies within the field
Symfony experience would be considered as a plus
Experience in continuous delivery, big data, high performance, caching & optimisation would be considered a plus
