Head of Legal

THE OPPORTUNITY
Boozt Group is a dual-listed Nordic e-commerce company operating across 14 European markets, with its headquarters in Copenhagen and offices in Sweden, Lithuania, and Poland. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Head of Legal to lead our legal function and serve as a trusted advisor to the business.

This is a senior in-house role with broad responsibility across multiple legal disciplines. The successful candidate will be someone who brings well-rounded legal knowledge, sound commercial judgement, and the ability to provide clear, practical guidance that enables the business to operate with confidence and appropriate care.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Serve as the primary legal advisor to the CEO, CFO, and the wider executive team.

• Lead, develop, and manage the internal legal team, including effective delegation and oversight of external counsel.

• Own the legal agenda across consumer law, marketing law, data privacy, intellectual property, capital markets compliance, company law, labour law, M&A projects and commercial contracts.

• Manage Boozt’s capital markets obligations for Nasdaq Copenhagen and Nasdaq Stockholm, including compliance with the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR).

• Advise on GDPR compliance and represent Boozt in dealings with relevant authorities.

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts across the business.

• Liaise with Swedish and Danish regulatory authorities and public agencies as required.

YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a candidate with solid working knowledge across a broad range of legal areas, rather than deep specialization in one or two fields. The ability to assess a situation, weigh the relevant risks, and provide guidance that helps the business move forward sensibly is more important than technical mastery of any single discipline.

You have:

• A Danish Law degree

• Familiarity with European consumer law and hands-on experience with Danish and or Swedish consumer law.

• Working knowledge of European and Nordic marketing law.

• A Solid understanding of GDPR and practical experience applying it in a commercial context.

• Experience in intellectual property law, primarily trademark and copyright.

• Familiarity with Swedish and/or Danish stock market governance and the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR).

• A Strong commercial contract handling skills and negotiation experience.

• A background in a senior in-house legal role, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or a comparable consumer-facing environment.

• Provides clear and actionable guidance under time pressure, without unnecessary delay.

• Is comfortable reprioritizing at short notice as business needs evolve.
